Want answers to some of the more popular questions we get asked? These will get you on the right track, but if you want to know more, please feel free to call us at the number above, or send us an email at the Contact tab.
Q: What areas do you service?
A: We service the Jackson-metro area of Mississippi, including all of Hinds, Madison, and Rankin counties. This includes the following: Jackson, MS; Brandon, MS; Pearl, MS; Florence, MS; Richland, MS; Flowood, MS; Ridgeland, MS; Madison, MS; Canton, MS; Clinton, MS; and Byram, MS. Did we miss your city, or need service outside of that area? We might be able to come out further; call for details.
Q: Are you licensed? Insured?
A: Yes on both. Timmy McLendon carries a master mechanical license (AC-65) for the City of Jackson, City of Pearl, and other surrounding jurisdictions, and his technicians work under his license. We currently have general liability insurance through Nationwide. Need a certificate? Call Amanda!
Q: Do you give free estimates?
A: We give free estimates for new construction or replacement only situations. If you want to find out what is wrong with your unit and how much it will cost to repair, that is considered a diagnostic service call, and a service call fee will apply.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Cash, check, and all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Please click on our Financing Options tab above to learn more about financing options for your repair or replacement.
Q: We've seen your polar bear on Craigslist. Do you advertise there?
A: We do! We will always have all of our contact information listed, as well as a link to our website to weed out the imitators.
Q: Do you charge sales tax?
A: Yes. We charge 8% sales tax for service to Jackson, MS, addresses because of the infrastructure tax . All other cities have a 7% sales tax fee as outlined by the MS Department of Revenue. Our technician should discuss the total amount of your job before any work has begun.
Q: Do you charge extra for emergency service?
A: NEVER! There is no charge for after-hours emergency service. Not all heaters or air conditioners conveniently break down between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm, and we take that into consideration. We also know you probably work just as hard for your money as we do, and we want you to hold on to it as long as possible.
Q: Why the polar bear?
A: The penguin was taken.
